Peto Presents: Analyzing Art: A Brief History of Collecting and How Art is Valued

8/17/2023 at 3:30 PM ET

Peto Presents:

Board Member and Fine Art Appraiser, Marc Hajjar is happy to be a speaker for Peto Presents! Join him for Analyzing Art: A Brief History of Collecting and How Art is Valued. You'll learn how art collecting started, how it's changed over time, how art is valued, and how a collection - of any sort - is built.

Bio:

Marc has been working in the fine art, jewelry, and collectibles space for over 10 years. He first started in fine art auctions and then moved to an appraisal and advisory firm that specialized not just in fine art, but any tangible asset class for insurance, estate planning, and loan collateral appraisals. He used the knowledge gained to be the US Business Manager for an international auction house. Currently, Marc oversees a digital-first embedded insurance product for collectible watches and is an independent USPAP compliant appraiser specializing mostly in fine art but also other collectibles.
