In honor of the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment, the Peto Museum of Island Heights will be highlighting the contributions of the Women of Peto, to include his daughter Helen (who was a watercolorist); Peto’s female students (including Emily Perkins); and art and artifacts of other Peto family members. The history of Peto’s granddaughter Joy Smiley’s life growing up in the Studio will also be explored, as will the works of some of the founding members of the Peto Museum – Jean Wetta and Alice Askoff.

Music Under the Stars: The Kootz

The Kootz Band plays classic rock, pop, soul and blues hits released from the 60’s to the 90’s. Their set list includes tunes from the The Who, The Beatles, Otis Redding, The Birds, Bruce Springsteen, Creedence Clearwater Revival and more. 

Grounds open at 6 pm. Bring your picnic baskets, refreshments, lawn chairs or rent a table and six chairs for $100.
